Mar Thoma Church of Greater Seattle – Episcopal Visit

The second Episcopal Visit to Seattle Mar Thoma Church was from Wednesday to Saturday June 23 to 26, 2010. Rev. Binu Varghese welcomed Thirumeni and planned the program in such a way to include some house visits, visiting the sick, meeting people with individual concerns and  holding Holy Communion service for the parish members

The Holy Communion service was on Saturday at the Church assisted by the vicar. The diocesan bishop solemnized the H. Qurbana in Malayalam and gave the sermon in English.

There was a fellowship meal after the Kaimuth which gave time for members to meet the bishop and to share the fellowship.
About 20 young members from the parish went to Portland where the regional youth fellowship took place,

The youth gave leadership and supported the conference financially. The Diocesan Bishop with Revs. Varghese A Ninan (Los Angeles) Binu Varghese and Roy A Thomas  celebrated Holy Qurbana on Sunday and gave the concluding talk on the theme BE TRANSFORMED.


The parishioners arranged some sightseeing for the bishop to see the Boeing Factory, Snoqualmie Falls, Levanworth & Mt. Rainer
