Episcopal Visit to St. Johns Mar Thoma Church, NY

The Episcopal visit at St. Johns MTC was held on Sunday, 11th July 2010 as they celebrated their 20th parish day. The service started at 9.00 AM with Praise and worship, followed by Holy Communion service in Malayalam. A good number of people attended the Holy Communion service.

 Parish day thanks giving service was also held during the Holy Communion service.  They had Birthday and wedding anniversary thanks giving services separately conducted. One day Income was collected during the service. The message was on John 21 where the parishioners were reminded of their pastoral responsibility in the world

A short parish day program was held after the service which included welcome and brief activity report, Thirumeni gave the message. The fund raising kick off program was held.

There was a BBQ fellowship gathering at Aramana campus in the evening. It was attended by Rev. Dr. Sham P Thomas, Rev  & Mrs. Varghese George and Rev. Vinoy Daniel and family. A cross section of the parishioners attended the fellowship.

The young members group together for fellowship, the grown up interacted with Thirumeni. The Children found the time to play joyfully in the campus. Rev. Jacob Varghese, the vicar welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr. Sham P Thomas spoke to the group. Rev. Varghese George prayed at the fellowship hour.
