1. Meeting of the Heads of the Churches in Australia

The National Council of Churches in Australia organised a meeting of the Heads of the churches in Australia at Christ Church St Laurence Anglican Church, Sydney on 5th March 2008 at 10.00 A.M. The Rev. Mike Semmier of the Lutheran church presided over the meeting. The general secretary of the National Council of Churches in Australia    Rev. John Henderson and twelve other Heads of the Churches attended the meeting. Bishop Dr.Geevarghes Mar Theodosius and Rev. Dr. Koshy P. Varughese attended the meeting representing the MarThoma church in Australia.The Heads of the Churches shared the views and concerns on the national and global level. The next meeing is sheduled to be held in the month of June 2008. The members committed themselves to work together through the National Council of Churches in Australia.

2. The Executive committee meeting of the NCCA.

The Executive commiteee meeting of the National council of Churches in Australia was held at the St Stephen's Uniting Church, Ferguson Hall, 197 Macquarie Street, Sydney on 6th March 2008 at 10.00 A.M. President Bishop Richard Appleby presided over the meeting. Archbishop Philip Wilson led the worship and devotion.Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa and Rev. Dr. Koshy P. Varughese attended the meeting representing the MarThoma Church.  The president welcomed bishop Theodosius and  Rev. Dr. Koshy P. Varughese introduced  bishop Theodosius to the members of the Executive committee.As the bishop of Australia, Bishop Theodosius brought the greetings  of the MarThoma church and spoke briefly  about the mission and ministry of the church. The general secretary presented the report and called forth the convenors of various subcommittees to present the reports. The meeting considered the reports and adopted them. Rev. Dr. Koshy P. Varughese will be representing the MarThoma church in the National Council of Churches in Australia as an official delegate with voting rights.
