Geographical Description: Parishes and Mission fields in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Andaman & Nichobar Islands.

Demography: Parishes: 61, Mission Congregations: 53, House Churches 120(approx),  Mission workers 182 (out of which 126 are supported by the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association the rest by the Dioceses) Support needed for       10 Missionary Achens, 56 evangelists, 12 Student’s Chaplains and 5 Students Hostels  – 141 children. There are other Social Workers, hostel wardens etc…

Financial Needs Rs.7,20,000 ($18,000) is needed every month to support the missionary activities of the Diocese.   A bare minimum of 87 Lakh ($2,17,500) needed annually to support the mission activities of the Diocese

 Partners in Mission

1. An individual or a family can become a partner in the mission of the Diocese by praying for and supporting an evangelist or a Balwadi (Pre – School) teacher. Salary and other expenses of an evangelist would be Rs. 78, 000/ ($1950) per year. Salary of Balwadi teacher would be Rs. 36, 000/ ($900) per year.

A parish or Prayer Group can become a partner in the mission of the Diocese by praying for and meeting the expenses of one evangelist and his ministry in five villages. Expenses would be Rs.1,00, 000 ($ 2500) per year. Expenses include

2. salary and other expenses of an evangelist, salary for Balwadi teacher, Sunday School, Literature Ministry, Job oriented training, medical care for children and elders, VBS and Summer           Camps and Annual Conventions.

3. A parish can become a partner in the mission of the Diocese by praying for and adopting a mission field where a missionary Achen with  four or five evangelists work together as a team. Expense would be Rs.5,00,000/ ($ 12000) per year.
