Bethal Marthoma Church Deducation, K R Puram Bangalore

The newly constructed church building for the Krishnarajapuram Bethel Mar Thoma Church was dedicated on 22nd Feb 2008 at 4 p. m. The Diocesan Episcopa Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius and Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos led the dedication service. It was well attended by achans and believer from Bangalore - Devanahally centres.

There was a public meeting immediately after the dedication service. The Diocesas Episcopa chaired the programme and Mar Paulos inaugurated it. Ex minister for Karanataka Mr. A. Krishnappa, Ex MLA Mr. Ivan Nigli, V Rev. Joseph Thekkekara Cor - Episcopa (Malankara Orthodox Church), V Rev. Roy Abraham Kochattu Cor - Episcopa (Malankara Jacobite Church), Rev. Dr. K. C. Abraham (CSI Church), Rev. K. C. George (Former Vicar), Rev. K. Y. Jacob and Rev. Sabu Thomas felicitated the meeting. The Vicar Rev. K. E. Geevarghese welcomed the gathering and Mr. Cherian Mathew (secretary) expressed vote of thanks. Mr. T. C. Mathew, Convener presented the construction committee Report. The parish Directory was presented by Mr. T. T. Samuel and released by the Diocesan Episcopa.

The first Holy Communion in the new church was celebrated by the Diocesan Episcopa on 23rd Feb at 8 a. m. There were 13 first communicants.
